From August 19 to 21 2021, the 13th Nordic Women’s and Gender History Conference takes place in Aarhus, Denmark. The main organizer is the Department of History and Classical Studies in collaboration with The Grundtvig Research Center, both at the Faculty of Arts, Aarhus University.
The Nordic Women’s and Gender History Conference is an established forum for historians studying women, gender and sexuality in a Nordic context. Here, historians working within different academic subfields meet to present and discuss new historical research and questions relevant to the field. Conference language is English.
The program consists of keynote lectures related to the conference theme, Gender, power and disempowerment, of thematic sessions, poster sessions as well as sessions for free presentations.
