Working Cross-Culturally at Aarhus University
Cross-Cultural Communication in a Danish/International Context: 24. November, 9.00-12.00 - FULL
This workshop is facilitated by the Living Institute Copenhagen. The format is a 3-hour session that focuses on cross-cultural collaboration within the Aarhus University context and the benefits of cultural diversity and inclusion. Danish AU staff members are encouraged to attend together with AU International staff members. Participants learn practical tools and strategies on how to work and act ‘culturally intelligent’ when collaborating cross-culturally in order to enhance performance and work satisfaction within an international environment.
We will be holding this event in-person and we are aware that some of you might be concerned about the Covid-19 situation. We can assure you that we will be taking all precautions in terms of social distancing during the workshop, as well as providing plenty of hand sanitizer, etc. The workshop will take place in a large room and we will be seated. All food and drink will also be served following AU guidelines, as we want to provide a safe and regulated learning environment.
This course is organized by International Academic Staff Services and facilitated by Living Institute’s Chief Consultant, Kasper Jelsbech Knudsen. Kasper’s passion lies in promoting cultures of inclusion. He specializes in inclusive leadership, advancing gender parity, unconscious bias mitigation, and cross-culture as well as disciplinary collaborations. He holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Aarhus University.
