The Annual Danish Astronomy Meeting provides a forum for networking, collaboration, and knowlegde exchange within our fields of research. At the meeting we can explore how to work together and support the community in general, and we have an opportunity to update each other on the latest scientific developments .
IDA Board Election
Like last year, we will have an election for the IDA Board. We look forward to welcome new members of the Board and we hope that a lot of young researchers will take part in the election. More information can be found here
Who is who in astronomy booklet - your contribution
This year we will make an electronic booklet about who is who in astronomy. Therefore in order to contribute to a general overview of the Danish Astronomical community, please write a short bio/abstract - specifying your scientific interest along with a profile picture in JPEG format. Guidelines for the booklet and example of format can be found here.
IDA PhD Prize
The IDA PhD Prize is an award for most scientifically outstanding PhD thesis defended at a Danish university in 2018. The winner of the IDA PhD Prize 2018 is expected to present his/her work at the Annual Astronomy Meeting. All expenses to attend the two day meeting will be paid by IDA e.g. registration fee and travel expenses.

EAS' Code of Conduct
IDA endorses professional ethics, values and standards within the Danish Astronomical society and refers to a set of ethical guidelines provided by The European Astronomical Society (EAS). Read the Code of Conduct here.
Venue and transportation
The meeting will take place at Nyborg Strand Conference Centre in meeting room D-E. The address is Østerøvej 2, 5800 Nyborg.
You are responsible for arranging your own transportation to and from Nyborg.
